A contemporary expression of one of India’s most intricate handloom traditions.

Crafted in Pochampally Double Ikat cotton, this shirt is woven using a highly precise process in which both the warp and weft yarns are resist-dyed before weaving. As the yarns come together on the loom, the pattern gradually takes shape, creating the distinctive geometry and softly feathered edges associated with Double Ikat.

Lightweight, breathable and rich in character, the fabric brings together traditional craftsmanship and everyday ease. At House of Roh, it is reimagined in a relaxed silhouette that lets the textile remain the focus.

Fabric: Pochampally Double Ikat Cotton
Origin: Telangana, India
Craft: Handwoven Double Ikat
Feel: Lightweight, breathable and soft
Fit: Relaxed boxy fit with a straight silhouette and easy drape
Best for: Everyday wear, dinners, holidays, gatherings and smart-casual occasions

Subtle variations in pattern alignment, weave and colour are inherent to handcrafted Ikat and are part of what makes every piece unique.

Care Instructions

Gentle hand wash separately in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods, particularly during the first few washes.

Do not bleach, scrub, twist or wring the garment. Dry naturally in the shade to help preserve the depth of colour and integrity of the weave. Iron on low to medium heat, preferably on the reverse.

Dry cleaning may also be used when you want to preserve the garment’s finish for longer.

How to Style It

Because Double Ikat already carries a strong visual language, keep the rest of the outfit clean and understated.

Pair it with black, navy, beige or ivory trousers and simple loafers or leather sandals for an easy, refined look. For casual dressing, wear it untucked with relaxed trousers, chinos or tailored shorts. For dinner or an occasion, pair it with structured trousers, minimal footwear and a simple watch.

Avoid competing prints and let the weave remain the statement.

House of Roh styling principle: Let the handloom lead. Keep everything else quiet.
